How to Hide / Remove Blogger Attribution Gadget

If you are using a default blogger template or on some custom blogger template, on the bottom or at the sidebar you notice a gadget "Powered by Blogger" attribution. This tutorial is about removing that attribution gadget from your blog. This can be done in two ways. You can hide the gadget from your blog using CSS or can remove it from your blog completely. The choice is yours. Follow the steps to hide / remove blogger attribution gadget.

(Before editing the Template i recommend you to Backup Your Blogger Template first.  So that incase some error occur while editing you can Restore the Backup Template back to your blog.)
  • Go to Blogger >> Template >> Edit HTML option.
  • Search from (Ctrl+F) ]]></b:skin> on template editor and add the below code just before ]]></b:skin>
#Attribution1 {display: none;}
  • Save Template.
This method will hide the attribution gadget from your blog. If the above method doesn't work for you, then you can try next method. You can completely remove the gadget from the blog. Follow the given step.

2. Remove Attribution Gadget from Blogger

(Before editing the Template i recommend you to Backup Your Blogger Template first.  So that incase some error occur while editing you can Restore the Backup Template back to your blog.)
  • Go to Blogger >> Template >> Edit HTML option.
  • Jump to widget Attribution1

  • You will head over to the Attribution gadget code section. Delete the attribution gadget code. The code will look like below image or similar to it.

  • You just need to delete the rectangle part and save the template.
That's all. View you blog the Blogger Attribution Gadget is now disappear from your blog.
